I'm a keen dirt biker - I have the latest in motocross clothing too - from my airoh helmets to my goggles and knee and elbow protectors. However, when it comes to owning other vehicles, I would rather buy shares with the money than buy a car. I enjoy investing in the market and consider cars as depreciating assets. It is quite unusual for anyone to make a profit on a car that they have bought. I have been hiring out a car for a number of years now and would have it any other way. I often swap the car over each month. I am rather selective in the cars that I drive. I prefer sports cars however I do like models such as hatchbacks and the like. I often take the hired car for long drives and like to show off my latest car to my work friends and relatives. I hire cars out for the long term so I get a much cheaper rate. If I hired a car for the short term it would cost me too much money. I doubt I would be hiring a car if that was the case. I intend to get a new hire next month. I am unsure if I want an imported convertible or a hatchback. There is too much choice!

To start with, I have to tell that I am a handbag maniac - from clutch bags to satchels, I have a huge collection at home. Not only do I love to buy bags, but I also make them myself. However, the bag that I will write about was purchased in a store. I was already leaving the store when it caught my eye. It was a natural leather bag. Beige in color with black handles. I like big bags, this one was of perfect size, had a well expressed rectangular structure and was very soft to touch. I took it I checked what pockets it has inside and I just wanted to have it. It had two additional pockets inside, one for bigger items and one credit card holder. These small details also influenced my decision. They appeared to be really handy. I bought the bag and used it since. The leather just got better, it does not loose color and I do not have to worry about stains. I wear my bag to work, to shop and when we go with kids.

I am not really a fan of a packages or plans from different network companies. And I only buy either a cheap phone or used phone. But since it is second hand or no longer new, the previous owners normally got their phone from a cell company and it is still locked to them for service.

The only way for other people to reuse these mobile phones is to have unlocked cell phones so that whatever network provider that they use, the mobile phone will be functioning well. This is almost always the case if you buy your phone from a second hand shop or from an individual who got it as part of a package from a service provider.

Of course you also have to know the cell phone repair shop that you will be going to in order for the phone to be unlocked. Cellphones are complex machines and it is inevitable that some problems may arise as a result of tinkering with it during the unlocking process.

When my husband wanted us to get a WII I wasn't too thrilled about it. I wasn't into video games that much and didn't see how I was going to benefit from it and have fun with it like he said that I would. As he works on an electronics assembly line (setting up round spacers), he has an intrinsic interest in all things electronics. Anyway, when I did get the game system I started to like it because I could hook it up to the internet and play others online. Being able to play the game online makes it more challenging and me and my husband can be on a team. The game that I love to pla is mario kart on it. It's the best game that they ever made for WII, in my opinion. Being able to play the games online isn't the only reason why this system is my favorite system. Being able to get netflix is also a huge plus. Instead of having to go to the video store or to redbox I can download movies on my WII which makes it a lot more convient.

Around late January to early Feburary, the Detroit International Auto show is in full flow. For two weeks, the city is a flutter of activity, the center of attention, set upon the world stage as if participating in pagentry. Detroit becomes a mecca of elegance and cleanliness,and it's sad in a way, because what visitors don't understand, what they can't understand is this clean, emaculate, SAFE city is a mirage which only lasts for those special and all too short two weeks. Detroit is in decline.Has been for almost forty years, since the riots of 1967,when flight to the suburbs were at its zenith. Detroit was a golden jewel in the Midwest, now, it is an eyesore, with gutted, abandoned houses, delapitated buildings which either should be demolished or repaired, and streets not made of gold, but filled with litter and dirt, and nary a road sweeper to be seen. Detroit's problem is not with the citizens, but with the system, the government which does not have the money to repair broken roads, and with layoffs going through the roof, repavement of asphalt is all but a distant, unattainable dream. No money is coming from the State of Michigan either. In fact, this year, and possibly in 2012, the govenor will seriously want to place a "Financial Manager" over the city, stripping the current mayor of his power to lead. The city is in such a bad state,that ordinary citizens, the few that are left in the city, take it upon themselves to pick up the trash that is thrown into the streets. Volunteers have donated recycling bins for plastic and paper garbage. The financial straits are so bad, the Mayor (The Honorable David Bing), has had to cut millions reserved for street sweepers, which included funding for new vehicles and snow plow trucks. There is an exploding rat, bed bug and cockroach population. Stray dogs and cats are becoming common place, along with the infestation of drug pushers, prostitutes, and addicts. These issues are being addressed, but unless the Mayor can get some sort of financial help (which the State is unwilling to provide), it will only get much, much worse.

They were from a German lady who sold from Germany to the US on that large auction site. What's their name? Oh, yeah, eBay. (I think that seller is not posting in the past couple years though.) So the way Birkenstock designs their shoes leads to one easily having a pair that will match every outfit you've got, and if you need that solid arch support, you are indeed supported! To me, Birkenstock = fashion, fun, arch support, and value. They also last for years and you can get them re-soled!

Feeling at Home While in the Wild

When I was younger, my family went on a vacation in our motorhome with friends visiting from Australia. They called it a caravan, we called it an RV or motorhome. Same thing! We'd looked at motorhomes to rent and found one suitable for our trip.

We decided to visit Yellowstone National Park because we thought the Australians mustn't miss such an amazing place. It sure was amazing. We drove from one side of the park to the other. The most exciting part of the trip was making it to the continental divide. It was an interesting feeling to be comfortable in our motor home while looking at all this rugged wilderness. I was amazed. I didn't leave the seat by the window almost the whole trip there. I loved it. The crazy part was when we went to camp at night. Up on the continental divide, there are a lot of coyotes and they are very active at night. We listened to their screeches and howls while sipping tea and staying warm. This was like camping, but it wasn't! It was a real trip for me. After the night, we drove down, stopping often and exploring. It was nice to not worry about getting food, stopping at the restrooms, or the need to find a campsite. The friends loved it and thought about doing the same thing in Australia one day. We had a great time.
