Cinnamon and its toxic effects: how moderation can help save your life

I have been taking cinnamon to help lower my cholesterol and blood sugar. I usually order it from an online health store but when PayPal Suspended their services in our area, I have to search locally for it. In the 10 years that I have taken cinnamon, I never felt any better (maybe it is because I love cinnamon) but too much of something is, fatal. I should have remembered the saying that anything in moderation is good and anything in excess is bad for your health. I found out that too much cinnamon in the system creates toxin in the body, which results to tachycardia, dizziness, abdominal pain, and fatigue with shortness of breath. This is because cinnamon contains catechin or epicatechin oligomer that induces the body&rsquos insulin to use the sugar/glucose of the body twice the amount that it normally does. Regardless to say, people who wanted to take cinnamon for weight loss purposes should take cinnamon in moderation at least half a teaspoon a day, if you are experiencing the effects of too much intake, consider taking a half year break to make sure that the toxins are no longer in your body.
