If I was to change anything about my house I would like to change my back patio into an outdoor pool. I've always been a water type person and I love swimming, its very good exercise and helps take a lot of stress off. Having an outdoor pool is so beneficial during the summer time, its very convenient for family bbq's, pool parties and much more. Nothing better than to put on the hook and loop armbands on my kids and teach them to swim there too! With an outdoor pool you can't go wrong, on those hot summer days you can always rely on the pool to cool you down. I think it would be a really enjoyable experience having an outdoor pool there's so much you can do. Pool parties are one of the most talked about subjects circulating during the summer months. Having an outdoor pool is also great during the night hours, there's nothing more fun than inviting a couple of friends to sit around the pool side and maybe include a couple of fruity drinks and light snacks. Overall I know I would really enjoy having an outdoor pool, I think it would be a fun and exciting experience, which is why that is the one thing that I would definitely change about my house. |

I had to trap all the feral cats in a very dirty and unsanitary house. The old folks who lived there couldn't take care of themselves, so their adult children placed them into an assisted living facility. The house was filled with feral cats and excrement and dust. I had to put on a surgical mask and gloves before going inside. Having worked near deso oil tanks, I was used to foul smells, but these smells were by far the worst I'd experienced. Ten out of the 14 cats had to be trapped. I bought live animal traps and put canned food and water in them. I went to the house twice a day, bringing the trapped cats to the local animal shelter to be euthanized immediately. Now all that is left is a filfthy house with junk stacked to the ceiling in every room. Cleaning it out will be bad, but not as gut wrenching as cleaning up the aftermath of the animal hoarders the cats who were the innocent victims. |

The majority of food service industry employers require all employees to attend safety courses and purchase proper footwear, for two reasons. Slipping, especially in the dish washing station, is commonplace. Not only is this painful for the injured employee, but a probable lawsuit for the company. Many companies offer "shoes for crew", a low cost slip resistant shoe that can be purchased through monthly payments from an employees' check as well as other ppe clothing. Safety courses are a necessity for obvious reasons. Many employees do not know how to properly dispose of broken glass. For instance, the average person would assume that throwing a broken glass away in the trash would suffice. Unfortunately, this is a spectacular way of injuring the person who unknowingly cuts himself while throwing the bag away. These courses focus on proper food storing and cooking temperatures, as to avoid food borne illnesses. Chemical storage is especially important, and requires extra space in the back of the restaurant as far away from food as possible. These and other important reminders, ensure that accidents don't happen, and lawsuits are avoided. |

My home is in Kerala state in India. My home is located in a scenic place. There are lots of trees around, and we enjoy fresh air because of this. The woodland not only provides us with fresh air, and natural sound, but also building materials too. The roof trusses were made from local trees, for example. I live with my husband here. My home has a beautiful garden where we grow many vegetables. I used to plant some vegetables so that we can eat healthy vegetables without pesticides. And about the structure of home, it's quite awesome. My house has two floors which contains 3 bedrooms.
But it's the people here who truly make this house a home. We enjoy our company, always eat together in the evening and chat about the day's events. This is the best part of the day - where we all are present in the same room (how often can you say that about modern families!). |
