Travelling is a good time to buy a new item for ones wardrobe, not only does it remind you of your holiday, but can also bring a new look to your wardrobe. This is the case with my bright red heels. Oh how I love shoes - from my silver occasion shoes to the red heels I'll touch upon here. Those red shoes - an elegant an simple bow is placed on the heel of each shoe, in a glossy finish. I found these ‘Dorothy’ shoes in Macy’s department store during a post-Christmas sale a few years back. They are only taken out for special occasions, and still look brand new. These attention-grabbing shoes are a deep red, and have heels to die for! Whenever I wear them it makes me feel like a celebrity! Heads always turn, especially when I wear it with my cute little black dress from Hong Kong. A pair of elegant heels really gives one lots of extra confidence, and the compliments don’t hurt either. The best part about these beautiful shoes is the elegant gold lining. This attention to detail my top designer Sam Edelman is what makes the elegance of this shoe. |

To start with, I have to tell that I am a handbag maniac - from clutch bags to satchels, I have a huge collection at home. Not only do I love to buy bags, but I also make them myself. However, the bag that I will write about was purchased in a store. I was already leaving the store when it caught my eye. It was a natural leather bag. Beige in color with black handles. I like big bags, this one was of perfect size, had a well expressed rectangular structure and was very soft to touch. I took it I checked what pockets it has inside and I just wanted to have it. It had two additional pockets inside, one for bigger items and one credit card holder. These small details also influenced my decision. They appeared to be really handy. I bought the bag and used it since. The leather just got better, it does not loose color and I do not have to worry about stains. I wear my bag to work, to shop and when we go with kids. |

My favorite color of pashmina is cream. With whatever clothes i wear it with, it always makes it look more elegant. Especially my cream pashmina with black lines makes it so much easier to combine with other clothes. Wearing it with a black surcoat while going on a business dinner makes the whole outfit way more classy. Cream can be worn both for business and leisure as it is neither too serious, nor too relaxed. It gives the image of pureness but it is not as cold as white, so it can highlight your inner self. Its not too ostentatious such as pink or yellow but it's distinctive enough to make you stand out from the rest of the crowd. Cream is the color of harmony and peace that makes you feel relaxed and comfortable which helps you fit in any kind of community as long as you feel the same. |

Buying gifts for others can sometimes be hard, but it doesn't have to be. A friend of mine uses jewellery making supplies to make gifts for her friends for examples - unique gifts are always good!
Most people like to shop for the special person on there own without getting any input on what the person actually likes. This is definitely a no-no when purchasing that perfect gift. I always find it a good idea to print out a wish list and have the recipient fill it out with some of his/her most wanted items. Then you have a good idea of what that person wants. You don't necessarily have to go by the list, but you get the general idea. Gift cards are always great as well, and you can never go wrong with a gift card unless you are trying to purchase for someone who has everything, then I would go with something hand made that either you have found in a boutique or made yourself. |

Yeah, I know what you're thinking – that Birkenstocks are bulky, floppy, granola-crunchin' hippie shoes – hippie shoes with great arch support. They don't go with my Maggie and Me dresses and other high-end fashion items, but there's a time and a place for each item of fashion I own.
Birkenstock are a favorite fashion item for me because Birkenstock produces an incredible number of styles, with a rainbow of colors and designs. Yes, at first, I loved them for their substantial arch support. Then I quickly found that once you know your Birkenstock size in a certain footbed, you can safely order any style using that footbed, knowing they will fit. This means you can easily order nationwide and scoop up the best sales! I have even ordered a really wild pair of Birks in periwinkle–colored, perforated leather, with white soles! They were from a German lady who sold from Germany to the US on that large auction site. What's their name? Oh, yeah, eBay. (I think that seller is not posting in the past couple years though.) So the way Birkenstock designs their shoes leads to one easily having a pair that will match every outfit you've got, and if you need that solid arch support, you are indeed supported! To me, Birkenstock = fashion, fun, arch support, and value. They also last for years and you can get them re-soled! |

When it comes to fancy dress ideas, I would dress up as a doctor. This is because of the plenty of respect I have for them. As a child, it was my express desire to be a doctor. Just how I ended up being a teacher is beyond my imagination. The art of healing is saintly and certainly a God given talent. I’ve always wondered how you can give someone a bunch of symptoms and they give you a diagnosis and treatment that heals. A doctor is always smart. If everyone could be as smart as such, the world would certainly be a better place. To cap it all, doctors are not politicians and they do not double guess their actions. If I had another life, I’d work hard to be a doctor. In fact, I try as much as I can to convince my students to join this noble profession. As such, I’m hard on students who do not complete their assignments on time. |

Unlike any girl my age, I am not that fond of having bags. A typical girl owns several colors, several brands, several shapes and several kinds of bag - from black clutch bags to tan-coloured shoulder bags. I just own one black bag which I am using when I go to work and my favorite, gold Escada purse bag. I like my gold Esacada purse bag because it is stylish, not bulky but still has room for all my essentials whenever I go out. It does not show but it has a lot of space. It's colour can be paired to any clothes I wear. It can go with sporty attire, casual or formal wears. Even if my Escada bag is stylish and multifunctional, it became more special because it was my 25th birthday gift of my grandmother for me. It was not because it is style or its colour but the memories I had with it, making it more special and became my favourite item. |

I love ankle boots, and I love wearing them even on occasions where shoes may be more appropriate. I am glad they are back in vogue. They come in so many designs and colors. I highly admire the expensive brands. I often choose black and also highly colored ones. I recently lashed out and bought purple ones. Some of my friends think the color is a little vibrant however I really like them. I paid over five hundred dollars for them so I need to get my wear out of them. I normally wear ankle boots with a short skirt or shorts. They are great to wear to clubs. I actually wore my purple ones out last night. I received countless compliment. People wanted to know where I got them from. I am thinking about buying another pair with a very high heel. I have over ten pairs which I am very proud of. I am trying to decide which pair I should wear tonight. Very hard decision. |

My trip back home to see my father for his annual party was always exciting. We never called it a birthday because my father said he refused to get any older. When I realized I was getting closer after the 6 hour drive that I just endured I was breathing a sigh of relief actually. I was tired of driving, and needed to stretch really bad. Arriving at my father's home with his gifts, I was presented with a box of my own. When I opened it I found 2 beautifully colored pashminas inside. They were gorgeous! I shrieked like a little girl and threw my arms around my father and squuezed. Telling him 'Happy Party Day' instead of 'Happy Birthday', we all laughed. We had a large cake, gifts and my mother was cooking a roast with all the fixings. It was my father's favorite meal and today after all was all about him. |

It is a matter of great debate that women and fashion are interrelated. The attraction women seek to develop through fashionable dressing is fairly obvious when you look around, and my favorite attire is plus size lingerie because it's allowed the larger lady to feel sexy again.
This particular costume is also unique in some aspect as it is worn mostly during night hours. Not so long ago, lingerie was considered to be attire worn by the extremely rich people in society. But today lingerie has become an option for all women as prices have made such fashion accessories available to all.
Not only that, but plus size fashion has helped the larger lady to be fashionable too. In this way, democracy has come to fashion where we can all be fashionable, and not just the rich or the thin. This can only be a good thing for both women and fashion vendors. |
