Itune is one of those necessities that help support an ipod. It is from the itunes that the ipod rely on to get a number of its songs. It supports the ipod in that the the autofill feature in itunes helps in selecting songs randomly from the music library of the user. There is also an ipod shuffle which is a digital audio player with a USB connector that enables it to be connected to the computer to load more music from the users library. So, do i need itunes for my ipod shuffle? In as much as the ipods rely on itunes for the upkeep of their music, they can as well do without them. This is because you can simply copy the music to your shuffle like any other normal mass storage system and have your music on. The ipods have a variety of means that can help it get music provided the capacity of the ipod is in accordance with the music selection that is intended for the ipod by the user.
