Michaela mentioned to us once that she took a short term course on Microsoft Access 2003. She said that the software is one nifty piece of database that can be used to work on simple to complicated database systems and that it is compatible with Microsoft SQL Server and the Oracle Database. She also advised Tina that if Tina wants to learn the ins and outs of the SQL Server it would be good practice to start with MS Access. When asked if she knows how to connect ms access to oracle Michaela said that everyone who studied MS Access will know how to do that. It is not only limited to Oracle too, each student is taught how to connect SQL to Access as well. It is part of the last section of the training material according to Michaela. Tina who wants to land more jobs in the freelance world decided that it is time for her to start gearing up towards acquiring more skills and that includes taking up Access, SQL and Oracle courses.
